c. Food & Trade Hub With HALAL Solutions

We are planning to build and operate a Regional Integrated Food & Trade Hub which is a unique, first of its kind development in Singapore incorporating Halal Solutions as an integral part of its services.

The Food & Trade Hub will be a one-stop integrated centre incorporating all the facilities and activities that are related to the food trade such as manufacturing, processing, preparation, packaging, storage, testing, certification, marketing, supplies and trading, forming an ecosystem of holistic trade and logistics solutions.

The fully-equipped complex will also include an area for an abattoir, meat processing factory, storage space such as warehousing, cold room and chillers, as well as central kitchen and lab facilities. The IM Food & Trade Hub will also offer Halal solutions which will set us apart from other conventional Food Hubs.

The Food & Trade Hub will provide a host of integrated services to our partnering SMEs, lending a competitive advantage to them not seen before in the industry. While a conventional food Hub only offers space to companies, the IM Food & Trade Hub offers a host of integrated services that aim to provide a great value-add to partnering SMEs to help them increase their productivity through lower business costs, streamline their operations and equip them to be operationally ready for expansion. In this way, SMEs are given a hand-up to expand their business and achieve an overseas presence in a faster and more cost-effective way.

With this Food & Trade Hub, IM will link the whole supply chain from suppliers to end-consumers, enabling partnering SMEs to synchronise their business activities and achieving sustainable competitive advantage by leveraging on IM's resources from beginning to end of the supply chain.
