1999A young man named Eddie Siow decided to show his entrepreneurial spirit at the age of 28 after working for two years and set up IM Freight International at a Shophouse in Tanjong Pager, Singapore with a mere SGD1,000.
In 2000, I.M. Freight merged with SKK Logistics and I.M. Group was born. The group headquartered in Singapore, have since grown from strength to strength with a strong footprint in South East Asia with offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Brunei. Also, I.M. Group has expanded its interests to the rest of the world with an extensive business network in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia and The United States of America.
2015The founder, Eddie Siow’s Entrepreneurial spirit brought him to Yangon, Myanmar in 2015 where he set up a platform providing end to end logistics services, sales and marketing and a showroom for local companies to showcase their products to the people of Myanmar.

With nine local entities in Singapore anchored by the company’s vast resources of logistics network and infrastructure, the group has gone on to provide additional value-added solutions and services to its existing customers as well as new ones who are looking to streamline their business.
With its core strategy to connect buyers and sellers through integrated digital platform and trade solutions while providing logistics support, the vision and business model have taken the group to new heights with inter-country projects from Malaysia and Japan.
In recent years, the company also started the business concept of I.M. Gateway, a 4PL concept that provides a complete market access platform designed to facilitate organizations in entering Singapore and the markets in Asia. The Gateway solution gives companies immediate access to markets by allowing companies to leverage on I.M.’s established and extensive infrastructure and networks beyond logistic services.
This platform has allowed many of I.M.’s existing customers small and medium enterprises, as well as multi-national corporations in the I.T., retail, manufacturing, engineering, and oil & gas industries, to benefit and further strengthen their stronghold in their respective markets.

Mr Eddie Siow
Chief Executive Officer
Upon graduation in 1996, he joined Asian Shipper, a subsidiary of Hong Kong Shipping Gazette, focusing on sales. At age 25, he became its Country Manager in Malaysia after nine months on the job. Two years later, he joined Asian Pacon, a US freight forwarder at their Singapore office and was in charge of overseeing the sales and business development.
In 1999, he founded IM Freight International at 28-years-old and became a father at the same time. Eddie holds a Bachelor in Business from the University of Western Australia, majoring in Strategic Marketing.
Ms Elaine Low
Elaine graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 1989, majoring in Business Studies and joined her family freight forwarding business after her graduation. A few years later she joined SKK Logistics Pte Ltd as a Director of the company and was involved in the full spectrum of running the business, which includes administration, operations, marketing, and finance. In 2000, IM Freight and SKK merged, and she was appointed Financial Controller.
